The Merchant product comprises different services:

• General Merchant Services: Allows you to collect payments from general customers (e.g., walk-in customers), suitable for retail shops, etc.
• Customer Payment Collection Service: Enables you to collect payments from your customers and track each payment. Suitable for institutions with recurring payments such as schools collecting school fees.
• Ticketing Service: Allows you to create and sell tickets to your customers.
• Bulk SMS: Send large quantities of personalized messages directly to your customers.
• Bulk Disbursement: Send multiple payments at once to groups of people.
• USSD Service: Communicate with customers through a short code for surveys, order confirmations, and more.

Yes. When a customer makes a purchase, the salesperson enters their Mobile Money number and amount into the POS. It sends a prompt to the customer's phone to complete the payment.

You will be able to receive payments from your customers once you set up either the Merchant service, payment collection, ticketing, or the USSD-based service (depending on the use case). Customers can pay to your terminal ID if they are a walk-in customer, or use the unique USSD code or payment link assigned to them.

Yes, once a customer pays, we'll send you a message letting you know you have received a payment.

We may request extra information about your business, such as:

• Business registration documents
• Business operational permits
• Address of Company
• Board of Directors
• Bank Statements

This can happen if we notice a change in your transaction patterns. These are also requirements to set up some of our services.
